About me:

After his studies, Marc-Olivier Louveau (pseudonym Lou Ma Ho) worked in radio, theatre, and as a copywriter in advertising. His writing techniques made for a natural entry into screenplays for television and cinema for twelve years now.

He has written books for young adults, notably a series of Asian tales. Expert in Viet Vu Dao,a Vietnamese martial art, he created his own school in 1996. A documentary project on the Vietnamese martial arts, “Les Fils du Vent " (Sons of the Wind), allowed him to combine his two passions : cinema and Asia.

While preparing a short film in 2002, “Hand on Heart" (La main sur le Coeur), his Master of calligraphy gave him his pseudonym Lou Ma Ho (he who spreads the words of Confucius in the Occident).

In 2005, the consecration of his work came together, resulting in “L’Eveil du Moine" (A Monk’s Awakening), a film which received numerous awards and was selected at film festivals worldwide. In 2006 he directed Nico and in 2008, Dead Cell (Cellule Morte).

He has just sign a co-production with Arté TV, for a feature film "Koan of Spring" which will be shot in Sept 2009 in Vietnam. In 2006, the script has been awarded Best Script at the Asian Film Festival of Boulder (USA). The music of the film will be composed by Shim Hyun-jung (? ? ?), a famous film music composer from South Korea.

He prepares also the feature film THE MEANDERINGS OF THE MEKONG which will be shot in 2010 in Vietnam.
The actors interested are Lambert Wilson, Chau Belle Dinh (Yamakasi) and Asian Stars.
