Cheri Gaulke is Chair of the Visual Arts Department at Harvard-Westlake, a private high school in North Hollywood, California. There she teaches Video Art and her students' films/videos have been screened in film festivals internationally. As an artist, Gaulke began working in video art in 1974, using the first consumer video equipment, the Sony Portapak. Her single channel videos and multi-channel video installations have been shown internationally.
